Cloudy's licensing rule is short: four plugins are free forever, everything else needs an active license on that server.
| Plugin | What you get |
|---|---|
| Welcome & Goodbye | Join and leave messages, text or embed |
| Embed Messages | Up to 100 dashboard-managed embeds |
| Reminders | /remind-me and friends |
| Reaction Roles | Up to 25 self-service role panels |
No trial, no member cap, no watermark. A server that only needs these never has to pay.
Everything else:
| Category | Plugins |
|---|---|
| Moderation | Moderation (incl. AutoMod, mod logs, sticky), Verification, Tickets |
| Engagement | Leveling & XP, Birthdays, Polls, Giveaways |
| Games & Economy | Economy, Animals, Custom Games |
| Utility | Automations, Custom Commands, Temp Voice |
| Integrations | Twitch, Kick, YouTube |
| Plan | Price | Billing |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | € 5.99 / month | Billed monthly, cancel anytime |
| Yearly | € 4.99 / month | € 59.88 billed yearly |
| Lifetime | € 44.99 | One-time payment, unlocked forever |
All three unlock exactly the same plugins. The only functional difference:
Prices are final; no VAT is shown pursuant to § 19 UStG (German small-business rule).
A license covers one server at a time and belongs to you, not to the server. You can move it between servers whenever you want, as often as you want.
Two servers means two licenses. See Licenses for buying, assigning and moving them.
This is the part worth understanding before you cancel anything.
Cloudy stores "the admin wants this plugin on" and "this server is entitled to it" as two separate facts. Losing the license only changes the second one.
A premium plugin without a license counts as inactive. It registers no commands, handles no events and writes no data.
Every premium page still renders your full configuration behind a lock bar. You can read everything; saving is blocked.
The moment a license is active on the server again, every plugin that was enabled is running again — with the same channels, the same messages, the same thresholds. There is nothing to re-enable.
Member data — levels, balances, warnings, birthdays — is never deleted by a lapsed license either. The only thing that deletes data is the reset on Server defaults.
Premium is checked in three places, so there is no way to end up with a half-licensed server:
402 even if the UI is bypassed;Reads are deliberately left open everywhere, which is why you can still see and audit your configuration without a license.
