Essentials

Server defaults

The two settings that apply to every plugin — bot language and embed accent colour — plus the full reset.

Bot Personalizer in the sidebar holds the settings that are not owned by any single plugin. They apply to everything Cloudy does on this server.

Identity & language

Embed accent colour

Hex #rrggbb · default #4D3BF1

The left rim of every embed Cloudy posts — welcome messages, birthdays, level-ups, custom command responses, panels. Individual plugins can override it (the embed builder has its own colour field), but anything that does not set a colour follows this one.

Set it to your server's brand colour once, and leave the per-embed colour empty everywhere else.

Bot language

en or de · default en

The language of the bot's own replies and of its slash-command descriptions on this server. That covers built-in texts: error messages, command help, the default welcome text, the default AutoMod notices.

It does not translate anything you wrote. Your welcome message stays in the language you typed it in.

This is per server and independent of the dashboard's own language. You can browse the dashboard in German while the bot answers your members in English.

Changing the language re-registers the slash commands, so their descriptions in Discord update within a minute or two.

Reset settings & data

The danger zone at the bottom of the page returns the server to its out-of-the-box state. It requires typing a confirmation word, and it cannot be undone.

What it removes

CategoryDetail
PluginsEvery plugin is switched off
SettingsEvery plugin setting falls back to its default, including embed colour and bot language
Member dataLevels and XP, balances, animals, birthdays, warnings, reminders, custom-games points
Panels & entriesTickets, verification, reaction roles, embed messages, custom games, custom commands, automations, stream subscriptions, giveaways and polls. Panel messages disappear from Discord within a minute

What it keeps

  • Your premium license — the server stays licensed.
  • Your custom bot, if configured.
  • Your purchase records and invoices.
  • Channels currently locked by /channel-lock, and temp voice channels that exist right now.
Member data is deleted, not archived. Levels, balances and warning histories are gone for good. If you only want to stop the bot from acting, disable the plugins instead — that keeps everything.

The reset is rate-limited to once per hour per server.

When you actually need a reset

Rarely. The usual reasons:

  • The server changed purpose and the old economy/level data is meaningless.
  • You were testing on a staging server and want a clean slate.
  • You are handing the server over and want to remove member data first.

For "I misconfigured one plugin", just fix that plugin. For "I want the bot to stop", disable the plugins or kick the bot — both keep your configuration intact.
